Art 103: 2 Integrative Final Project
Professor: Sam Dorgan
Quote: "The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance, but their inward significance." - Aristotle
This project involved taking a program (Illustrator/Photoshop) that we learned and use it to create a piece that associates with one of the quotes assigned by my professor (listed above). I chose an Aristotle quote that resonated with me. I took both a literal and artistic interpretation of the quote.

Project 1
Staying with the theme of art coming from within I used a human skeleton with a blue aura background for depth. I then added lines of color that surround the body all ending or originating from the heart and the eyes signifying that art comes from our feelings and experience as well as what we see. Everything from the eyes connect to the heart.
This contains gradients of blue and grays.

Project 2
I actually revised this one, since the original didn't really embody the message I was going for or the quote assigned; so i created a heart with a slogan i made up. I wanted something simple and catchy so it sticks in people's minds. The background contains other art projects of mine and a image of plato (Aristotle's student) orating. A heart outlined in a thick line over it gives it a graffiti vibe
