Snapchat filter designs
I created two snapchat filters for the dorm hall i live in. These designs were extra design projects that i did outside of class. I decided to take some of what I've learned and dive into trying to design something.
Snapchat Filter 1
In this design i was going for a modern but classy look reminiscent of the 50's about the time this very old dorm building was built. I wanted some geometric shapes to create form with balance and equal spacing. This was commissioned for the Hall committed.

Snapchat Filter 2
My second attempt also involved focusing on the 50s, I decided to go old school using a retro typewriter font style. The Box based shapes have a older elegance. The only thing i was worried about this design was the line separating the two boxes but i feel the overall concept is good just needs some retooling. This was also commissioned for the McBride committee.
